Over one hundred years ago, at a small 'live-over' shop in St Ives, Joseph White cut out window blinds on his kitchen table. This simple act helped to form the foundations of the family owned, Whites the Furnishers, a company that has played an integral role in the business communities of St Ives and Penzance ever since.

Joseph's grandson Roger took over from his father Cecil in 1968 and rebranded the business as Roger White Interiors; a company specialising in bespoke interior design and more recently, rugs and artefacts from the east.
